The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) designated October as National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM). NCSAM was designed to serve as a collaborative effort among federal, state and local governments as well as non-governmental organizations, to increase awareness regarding the significance of cybersecurity and provide the necessary resources to ensure people are safe and secure online.
To commemorate the 15th anniversary of NCSAM, PRIMA will debut its National Cyber Security Awareness Month Podcast Series, featuring subject matter experts who will share vital information regarding cybersecurity.
Additionally, PRIMA, in collaboration with Travelers, will provide weekly cyber educational resources. The resources provided will equip public risk management professionals with educational tools to understand the cyber threats, protect their cyber-space and properly respond to cyber incidents.
