On this podcast, Chase Burton shares how the opportunity to network with other like-minded individuals at PRIMA’s 2022 Annual Conference was helpful for his current career path. The conference was informative for Chase; showing him that there is a need for risk management in all fields.

The knowledge he gained through the sessions and conversations with other attendees emphasized the importance of doing things as a collaborative/team to learn and benefit from others’ experience in risk management.

Chase is an accomplished scholar, athlete, mentor, speaker and intern. He was born and raised in Douglasville, Georgia. Chase saw his mother work endlessly to make ends meet, which sparked Chase’s interest in finance and saving. Mr. Burton is known for his determination and addiction to success. During his undergraduate years at Morehouse, He graduated top 1% of his class, interned at numerous fortune 500 companies, became a football captain as a walk-on and was valedictorian for athletics in finance. His visionary perspective has earned him opportunities to work on global, prominent campaigns with Fortune 500 companies, design product applications to educate low-income communities on finance, and mentor aspiring athletes and children from fatherless homes. This upcoming fall, Chase will be earning his Masters in Management from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Washington, DC.
