Shots fired! The specter of an active shooter incident is one of the top issues that causes administrators to lose sleep. Years ago, schools adopted lockdown procedures designed to delay the shooter’s access to students and staff until law enforcement officers could affect the situation. In response to more recent incidents, this session will bring attendees up-to-date on pertinent developments regarding active shooter preparedness.

Attendee Takeaways:

1. Attendees will learn about ways to improve emergency preparedness.
2. Attendees will receive helpful web-based resources.
